We welcome referrals from private and international patients. Our team will be happy to provide all the information you require in order to arrange your consultation and investigations.
Insured patients
If you have private medical insurance, please contact your insurer to obtain a pre-authorisation code to see Dr Paresh Mehta. A referral letter, usually from your General Practitioner or another specialist, is helpful but not essential. We are approved by all major healthcare insurance providers and are also fee-assured with BUPA and AXA-PPP.
We advise that although we directly invoice your insurer, the ultimate responsibility for payment is with the patient including any shortfall or excess you may have within your policy. We therefore advise that you contact your insurer in advance of any consultation, investigation, procedure or operation.
Self-funded patients
We are happy to see self-funded patients. A referral letter, usually from your General Practitioner or another specialist, is helpful but not essential. We ask that payment for consultations are made on the day.
Embassy patients
We are happy to see patients referred by their Embassy. All patients are required to bring a letter of guarantee from their embassy stating approval to see Dr Paresh Mehta.
Professional medical reports
We will send you a medical report outlining your clinical assessment, investigation results and a detailed management plan. With your permission, we can post or email this report to you and the referrer.
Consultation and Investigation fees
Please contact us for up to date fees and methods of payment.
Cancellation policy
Any consultations cancelled by yourself within 24 hours before a scheduled appointment will incur the full consultation fee.
